Dark Tower Sketchdump

*FULL VIEW PLEASE!*

I'm on the last book of Stephen King's Dark Tower series (but not quite finished, so no spoilers please!)

I don't know how I'm going to cope when I'm done. I started this series back in March when I was travelling in Asia, and managed get hold of each book as I progressed through New Zealand and then Oz. I'm back in Ireland now but I think I'll always associate this story with those wandering months.

Anyway, here's a few DT inspired drawings.

I've already submitted a cleaned-up version of Bert (top right) but I think I prefer the pencil sketch.

The rest are all versions of Roland. The two on the left are speculations on how he might have looked when he was young during Wizard and Glass. These led to the one on the right, a twenty-something year old version of him that shouldn't exist but does.

I'll get him right eventually. But must steer clear of 'cute' versions like the one with Susan above.
